My wife and I love our patio. We were wondering if other people like their patios as much as we do.

So we thought maybe we could look around online and see if there was enough interest in patios online that folks would actually come to a site to read about someone looking at patio furniture, searching for patio tables and chairs, or love seats or outdoor teak wood bar sets.

Wow, what could I have been thinking?

It seems like patios are one of the most popular topics on the internet.

My wife, Susan and I live in the US, in the desert are of Southern California, close to Palm Springs. And for us, this is the prefect place to enjoy the outdoor patio life. But there are a lot of people in the world who have patios who do not live here. And they are looking for some cool information about patios on the internet as well. So Susan and I will do our best to find the best prices, interesting ideas, cool patio living websites and discounts and deals.

We both have looked around the internet at sites we like and have tried to bring some of the best parts of them to our site about patios.

We try to write in a way that does not put people to sleep.

We try to have information about a variety of patio related things on our site. Like, just because I am totally in love with my teak patio bar set, does not mean that everybody thinks like me, so we have parts on our site about cast aluminum patio benches, patio umbrella lights and patio heaters and lots of other things.

And if we can find cool things that aren't strictly about patios, like grilling (one of my favorite activities) or maybe even other websites where people can get discounts on things, well, we'll add those too.

It’s true, we can’t cover every single idea about patios and decks and garden furniture in one website, but we’ll do our best to provide great quality on a lot of different patio ideas.

From looking around the internet at various patio and deck related websites, we found that many people are looking for specific products to check out or buy. So we decided to create the Discount Directory Link page hoping that might help some folks out in their searches.

We are also kicking around the idea of starting a email list where we would send out articles about patio design ideas or discount coupons or maybe even stories or jokes every once in a while.

Nothing earth shattering or mind bending here, Susan and I are pretty down to earth people who work hard and enjoy relaxing on our patio or playing with our collie dog Clancy in the evenings. So if we decide to send out an email to people who want them, it won’t be any more than once or twice a week. And then only twice a week if we hear about something that folks might like that has a limited time sale.

Sometimes that happens with the big patio furniture and patio accessory websites online. They will have an end of season discount sale or something and if we find out about it we would write an email about it.

But both of us are big respecters of other people’s time and privacy.
